Terms of Use, Refund Policy & Agreement for Online Driver’s Manual Course

1) Course & Eligibility
• This Agreement governs enrollment in and use of the Virginia Driver’s Manual Course online course.
• You must provide accurate identification and contact information. Impersonation or sharing login credentials is
prohibited.

2) Access Window & Account Deletion (90 Days)
• You have 90 calendar days from the date of purchase to complete the course.
• If you do not complete within 90 days, your account and progress may be deleted. Re-enrollment will require a new
purchase.
• Extensions may be considered case-by-case before the 90-day deadline; fees may apply.

3) Technology & Student Responsibilities
• You are responsible for having compatible internet, device, and email access.
• Complete all modules, quizzes, and the final assessment as instructed. Academic honesty is required.

4) Certificates & DMV Compliance
• Upon successful completion, a certificate of completion is issued consistent with Virginia DMV rules.
• Company policy: We do not email or electronically transmit official DMV certificates unless DMV rules explicitly
permit electronic issuance. In-person pickup may be required; a valid ID is required.
• Processing of DMV credit (if applicable) is subject to DMV regulations and timelines.

5) Pricing, Payments & Processing Fees
• Prices are posted at the time of purchase. Taxes/fees, if any, are shown at checkout.
• Credit/debit card transactions incur non-refundable processor fees charged to the school by our payment processor.
If a refund is approved (see Section 6), these processor fees will be deducted from the refund.
• Processor fees typically range 2.6%–2.9% + $0.30 per transaction (example: on $60.00, approx. $1.86–$2.04 +
$0.30).

6) Refund Policy
• Full refund within 24 hours of purchase only if no course content was accessed (minus non-refundable processor
fees in Section 5).
• Partial or no refund after access: Once you access course content, refunds are generally not available. At our
discretion, we may offer an account reset or a one-time extension instead of a refund.
• No refunds after: (a) course completion or certificate issuance; or (b) the 90-day window expires and your account is
deleted.
• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, less processor fees described in Section 5.

7) Chargebacks & Disputes
• If you believe there is a billing error, contact us first at 757-262-1446 or 1stopdic@gmail.com so we can resolve it
quickly.
• Filing a chargeback after course completion or contrary to this Agreement may be contested with your issuer.
• If a chargeback reverses payment after services are delivered, we may pursue the balance due, permissible fees, and
court costs to the extent allowed by law.

8) Data Retention & Privacy
• We maintain course and access records for administrative and compliance purposes.
• Accounts inactive past 90 days may be deleted; historical records may be retained as required by law or policy.
• We protect personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available upon request or on our website).

9) Conduct; Suspension
• We may suspend or terminate access for cheating, identity fraud, abusive behavior, or policy violations. No refund
will be due in such cases.

10) Changes to Course or Terms
• We may update course content and this Agreement from time to time. The version in effect at purchase applies to
your enrollment, except where law requires otherwise.

11) Governing Law & Venue
• This Agreement is governed by Virginia law. Any claim arising from this Agreement may be brought in the General
District Court for the City of Hampton, Virginia, subject to applicable jurisdictional limits.
