The RADEP (Reckless and Aggressive Driver Education Program) is a required 12-hour course for Virginia drivers charged with reckless driving, aggressive driving, or other high-risk, non-alcohol-related traffic violations. For $120, this court-approved program combines an 8-hour Driver Improvement Clinic with a 4-hour Aggressive Driving Course, providing comprehensive instruction designed to change driving behavior and reduce future violations.

This program satisfies Virginia court mandates for drivers cited for serious traffic offenses. Taught by certified instructors at 1 Stop Driving School in Hampton, the course focuses on real behavioral change, defensive driving techniques, anger management, and understanding the consequences of aggressive and reckless driving.

Course Overview: Step 1 of the Reckless & Aggressive Driver Education Program is an 8-Hour Driver Improvement Clinic approved by the Virginia DMV under Virginia Code §6.2-492. Priced at $60 as a standalone course, this is the first stage of RADEP and provides essential driver safety education to encourage positive behavior change and reduce repeat violations.
